Our History
Since its foundation was laid in the year 1961, Sujata Nutri-Pharma has been striving to fulfil client requirements with highest quality pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products in accordance with committed timelines, specifications & regulatory standards
1961
Shreyas Chemicals
Inception of Shreyas Chemicals in 1961 as Manufacturer of Mineral Acids (developed site dedicatedly for Sarabhai Chemicals which was wholly owned subsidy of Merck Germany).
1971
Sujata Chemicals
Inception of Sujata Chemicals as a part of forward Integration. (Manufacturing of Inorganic Salts and Fine Chemicals for supply to Sarabhai Chemicals).
1980
Diversifying Business
Sarabhai Chemicals closed its operations due to Financial issues & we started diversifying business to similar line of clients including Alembic, GSK, Merck, etc.
1990
New Distribution Line
We started repacking of our products into small cartons, Bottles, Cans, etc. to cater retail clients with office and godown located at prime area of Dandia Bazaar, Vadodara.
1991
Industry Oriented Business Partner
Mr. Jitendra Shah joined as Full time Partner in the group of firms.
2004
New Business Policy
Due to deteriorating health of the Founder Shri Navinchandra Shah, we then diversified our business to fully move into developing Sujata Chemicals Brand by keeping our same Logo of “Shreyas” in order to continue the brand equity. Main aim to enter niche Pharma market with the same line of products.
2012
Shifted to new Manufacturing Location
We shifted to our new location in Makarpura and developed facility solely for Pharma Clients. Earlier plant had mixed variants of products. We took this decision to avoid any kind of cross-contamination and focus on specific needs of clients.
2014
Addition of New Partner - Dhruvin Shah
Mr. Dhruvin Shah joined Sujata as a Co-Partner and Business Development Head. His modern and strategic approach towards manufacturing methodologies and inclination towards compliance of International standards & guidelines is taking Sujata to greater heights & continual improvement path.
2016
Upgradation in QMS
Upgradation was always in progress though various customer inspections, Audits, etc. In 2016 we chose renowned Auditing Organisation Bureau Veritas as our Auditing partner for ISO 9001, FSSC 22000 & Sedex. This helped create strong QMS and working systems.
2018
Generation Change
Mr. Jitendra Shah called for retirement from routine business and Mrs. Pankti Shah entered into as replacement for him.
2021
Modern changes in corporate culture
Now, we are moving from Partnership firm to Private Ltd firm which is another part towards creating an overall corporate and professional culture. This was another big move towards achieving long term growth strategic growth.
